Behavioral Health Services
We offer specialized behavioral health services to victims of crime within the Spanish-speaking community. Our programs are designed to address the unique needs and challenges faced by these individuals, ensuring they receive the compassionate and effective care they deserve.
Resource Advocacy Assistance
We help Spanish-speaking families and individuals navigate and access vital community resources. Understanding that language barriers can hinder access to necessary services, we provide translation and interpretation support to ensure everyone can benefit from the resources available.
In partnership with El Paso County DHS, CORE Services provides translation, interpretation, and advocacy for families with open cases. We offer supervised visitation for families with children in foster care and bilingual life skills training, ensuring effective communication, support, and empowerment for the Hispanic/Latino community.
Centro launched the Adelante Youth Outreach Program to support non-English speaking high school students with little to no English language instruction. We hired a dedicated coordinator and mobilized volunteers to provide tutoring and support, helping students adapt to a new culture while maintaining their own, ensuring academic and personal success.
Centro's robust volunteer program, led by Mrs. Flor Pacheco, organizes a backpack and school supply give a way project for Latino families, overcoming language barriers to ensure participation. We advertise in Spanish and solicit donations from Latino businesses. At Christmas, volunteers organize a giving tree to collect gifts for families in need, bringing joy to children.
