Programs and Services

At Centro, we provide wraparound services designed to meet the cultural and linguistic needs of Latino families. Whether you need help navigating systems, healing from trauma, or building new opportunities, we are here for you. All services are available in Spanish and English. 

Advocacy Program 


Centro helps families overcome barriers by guiding them through complex systems in their own language. 

  • Translation and interpretation services 
  • Assistance applying for medical benefits, food stamps, unemployment, housing, and other public benefits 
  • Legal, educational, and immigration resource 

Our advocates manage up to 600 clients per quarter, ensuring each family receives the support they need to move forward. 

Counseling Services 

We provide bilingual, culturally sensitive mental health care tailored to the Latino community. 

  • Individual counseling 
  • Trauma-focused therapy for victims of crime and domestic violence 
  • Bilingual support groups: coping skills, grief, survivors of violence, and more 
  • Specialized therapy for children impacted by trauma 
  • Parenting and fatherhood coaching

Our therapists use Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and culturally grounded approaches that honor identity and resilience.

Family & Youth Services 

Through these family-centered and youth-focused programs, Centro fosters resilience, independence, and brighter futures, ensuring every generation has the tools and support to thrive. 

  • Survivors of Domestic Violence Support Group: Helping women heal, build safety plans, and reclaim self-confidence. 
  • ¡Adelante! Youth Outreach: Supporting Latino high school students with peer groups, counseling, and adaptation to a new culture. Includes field trips, mentoring, and resilience training. 
  • Ella Puede (She Can): Empowering Latinas to launch small businesses and achieve financial independence. 
  • Back-to-School Support: Providing hundreds of backpacks and school supplies each year to local families. 

Centro provides programs that strengthen family bonds, support survivors of violence, and help young people adapt, grow, and reach their potential.
